PhotoEQ is more than just an image editing tool. Besides giving you access to a wide variety of photo editing options, this program is also packed with a built-in color picker, helps you analyze your digital photographs like a professional, enables you to convert your pictures to other file formats.
This feature-rich tool provides you with a user-friendly interface and easy-to-configure editing settings. So, you don't need much image editing experience in order to use this program and get the quality results you require.
The program might come in handy if you need to enhance the quality of your pictures by adjusting the contrast and exposure levels, cropping and rotating images, removing noise, and so much more. You can create your own preset (using certain output options) and save it for later. You also have access to a wide range of default presets to choose from.
In my testing, I used most of its editing options and built-in tools (color picker and the Histogram Analyzer). They all worked well and I immediately got access to quality output files.
Other useful advantages include the ability to import various types of an image file and its support for batch processing.
Two things bothered me: the utility took a while to import my images and the fact that it supported a few output formats (only 5 as opposed to the number of supported input formats - more than 30).
Still, you should give it a try if the aforementioned issues don't mean much to you as the output quality is excellent and the program has a lot to offer.
